Discovering Ireland

As per usual, I spent most of my time indoors at the conference venue during the last few days. It really is a pity that we usually don't get much time to explore the places we go to. Nevertheless, I did learn a few things about Ireland. More specifically, I got introduced to Hurling and Gaelic Football - had never heard of either before I (admittedly, I initially got hurling and curling confused...). Not being a sporty person, neither of them seem very attractive to me, not least as they seem rather brutal!
