The frustration of coming second
FA cup final at Wembley. In the pouring rain (they should have played out here in the East - it's only starting pissing down after the final whistle!).
It seemed a foregone conclusion that ManCity - currently second in the Premiere League - would beat Wigan Athletic - currently 18th in the league and battling relegation. But after a late red card for ManCity, Wigan made their dream come true and scored the winning goal in the 90th minute. Getting to the final but not winning just doesn't count for very much.
