Perm it?

My hair is currently at this terrible in between state - not short, but not long either. Usually, that's the time, when I run to the hairdresser and get another short bob cut. But I am hesitating. Once every 5 years or so, I get the urge for long hair. And every time once my hair was long, I didn't like it too much. I have loads of hair, which makes it very heavy and difficult to do anything with (which is probably also down to me being talent-free when it comes to hairstyling...).

The three options I am currently considering:

1) as mentioned above: going back to a short/chin-length bob

2) grow it

3) get a perm
