Just in time for Mother's Day (in the UK), it looks as if spring has finally sprung. The sun was shining, office windows were opened and the temperatures are back in the two digits again! And when leaving the office it's still light outside!
All good.
But, when I left the office tonight, there was a disgusting smell in the air. I am used to sometimes a weird smell hanging over East London (really true - I am not making this up! I have no idea what causes it), but I had never experienced it in Central London. I even checked my shoes to see whether I had stepped in dog poo (I hadn't!).
Very strange and I don't know whether it has anything to do with the increased temperatures.
