I hadn't heard about this film (nor the story it is based on) but I'm always up for free cinema tickets, so when the email from Showfilmfirst came in, I was delighted that tickets for a special Sunday preview at my local cinema in Stratford were still available.
As always, I won't try to summarize the film - but I highly recommend it! It's based on true events during the miners' strike in the UK in 1984 and the support they received from the lesbian and gay community. It's shocking and sad and amazing and really touched me.
