Let meeeeee ... entertain you

Another work commitment evening. Tonight a three course sit down dinner. With a surprising twist. During the main course, two of the "waiters" burst into song - which is why they are quite aptly called Singing Waiters. Starting with getting the dinner guests to sing Happy Birthday for one them, they then sang popular opera songs, while dancing and flirting with the ladies.

Not my kind of thing but the audience seem to enjoy it. And certainly something a little difference (until I found out that they had also had an appearance at a very similar event recently - so maybe not that unique... but still different for most people, I guess).

And on the menu we had:

*Chilled bean and garlic soup*

Chilled and bean soup did not sound particularly appealing to me, but it turned out surprisingly tasty

 *Rack of lamb with curly kale and potatoes*

The lamb was a little too rare for my liking and there was a lot of fat on it - so surprisingly disappointing

*Chocolate brownie with vanilla custard and chocolate sauce*

Chocolate overkill: two huge pieces of brownies - I could just about finish half of ONE! But nice
