CBBC is the kids' programme of the BBC. According to the news, there had been some issues with some of their female presenters dressing "too sexily".
According to the Metro: "CBBC executive editor Melissa Hardinge said the stars’ clothes were also checked to make sure they were not too provocative. ‘Sexualisation of girls is something we take incredibly seriously,’
said Ms Hardinge at a Bafta event last night. ‘We try to show fantastic
female role models. The older end of our six to 12 age groups are very
interested in relationships, and we have to show positive role models
and the correct way of going about having relationships.’"
You always learn new things. I didn't even know there was a "correct" way of going about having relationships. And is it different for teenagers than it is for adults?
