Le Mercury

It's a little strange to wander around Angel while on leave. And man, am I envious of E's flat on Upper Street - so central, such a cool area and just a short walk (!) from the office!

With the vast number of restaurants around, there are still so many places left to discover. On Friday, we went to Le Mercury a French restaurant with very reasonable prices and a quirky interior. And cocktails for just £5.45! The raspberry mojito was very nice but above all it was lovely to have a post-Christmas catch up with T and E.

As I was starving, I forgot to take pictures of the starters we had..., but here's the rest:

I had the very yummy and massive steak with fries; and for dessert we shared poached pear and sticky toffee pudding
