Last night somebody's car alarm went off just after midnight. And it didn't stop for hours. Literally.
Fortunately, my earplugs blocked out the noise. While this is/was of course rather annoying, it does make me wonder why this doesn't happen more regularly in a city like London. Or maybe I should say, it makes me appreciate that it otherwise is actually really peaceful where I live. And I usually take that for granted.
